Tabata Warrior classes:
Tabata Warrior: (this is NOT a yoga class). It is a 45 interval training class-20 seconds of all out effort, with 10 second recovery. Repeated several rounds. Includes ab/back exercises. Taught by personal trainers, Jordan Carver & Margaret Shaw on Tues. 8:00am & 5:15pm, Thurs. 8am & 6pm. Any pike yoga passes work for this class.

One-on-one training is great but can I bring my friends and train as a group?
Absolutely! One-on-one training allows for undivided attention and a most personalized environment, however, group training (2 to 4 clients at a time) is a fun, energizing, and economical way to work out!

Fitness is my first love. I have been encouraging physical fitness to ALL ages and for ALL levels for over 30 years. The Pike Yoga-Personal Training philosophy is "any amount of exercise is better than none at all." At Pike Yoga, we encourage each client to begin where they are, helping them to set goals to reach their own optimum level of fitness. Pike Yoga has had great success helping clients realize that they can get the results they want by doing a variety of exercises and not the same routine every time. When clients combine a varied routine with 3-5 personal life style modifications, they are more balanced, more healthy and more mind/body fit.

I am a Mississippi girl who moved to Memphis in July of this 2017. I am very passionate about health and wellness and love to help people with nutrition, fitness, and relaxation. I am certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, yoga instructor, barre instructor, and spin instructor. I also enjoy teaching Pilates and aqua-size. I love to cook and I am an organizer of a vegan potluck and dine out group in Memphis. I love animals and love going to the movies and being outside.

I first fell in love with fitness as a young athlete in middle school and high school. I knew I had to figure out how to continue all this “fun” activity that people called exercise for the rest of my life. I grew up in Louisiana and would come to Memphis a couple times a year to visit family. On these trips, I started shadowing my cousin who was a personal trainer. Flash forward, after college and grad school, I completed a Graduate Internship at Pike Yoga in Personal Training under Wendy Holmes(previously mentioned cousin). I spent a year away in Chicago as a Personal Trainer, but now I am back in Memphis working where it all began. Areas of specialization include: Weight Loss, Weight Management, and mostly “Post Rehabilitation” (Post Injury/Surgery Rehab or Chronic Pain/Health Conditions).
